Used Thermco 8525CN100A1160 Stainless Steel Gas Mixer

The Model 8525 is designed to precisely mix carbon dioxide and nitrogen for food packaging. With a range of 0-100% CO₂ in N₂, the 8525 can mix any proportion of CO₂ in N₂.The gas mixer is enclosed in a NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure which enables the gas mixer to be mounted in a washdown area. A built-in gas analyzer continuously monitors the gas mixture being created. Alarms on the gas analyzer may be set by the user to alert personnel if the gas mixture is out-of-specification. An alarm will energize a horn and light when an alarm occurs. The 8525 is specially cleaned for food service. Because the gas mixer uses a surge tank design, this type of system is ideal for applications that require maintaining a precise proportion from zero flow to full flow with high reliability. The 8525 is suitable for continuous flow or intermittent flow demand.
