This type of filling equipment fills containers (tubs, cups, pots), places a membrane or foil onto the container, then heat seals and/or places a lid on top of the container. Cup fillers can be designed with different types of filling mechanisms to accommodate different types of products, such as liquid, paste, dry or powdered products.
