Used Barry Wehmiller Thiele Combi Automatic Pouch Cartoner Case Packer with:
- Barry Wehmiller Thiele Servostar PSC Automatic Glue Cartoner
- Previously ran on a 6 inch pitch
- Last set to run a carton that is 4.25 inches in the carton travel direction
- 3 pick and place feeders for pouches and 2 pick and place feeders for literature
- 3 Laetus bar code readers for verifying bar codes on inserts and cartons
- Embossing station for expiration dates and lot codes along with a gluing station to close the cartons
- Output: 175 cartons per minute
- Allen-Bradley SLC500 PLC controls
- PLS for controlling machine timing
- Servo controlled motors with Bosch/Rexroth Indramat drives
- Combi 2HL Case Packer
- Currently set to load cartons into cases in a single push with 3 stacks of 8 cartons for a total of 24 cartons per case
- 3M taping system
