Equipment Description

Used EnvisionTEC Ultra 3SP Series 3D Printer with:

  • Application: Utilized 3SP (Scan, Spin and Selectively Photocure) technology to 3D print parts regardless of geometric complexity
  • Single material is used for both build and parts
  • Surface quality of the printed models show no signs of stairstepping on the inner or outer surfaces. 
  • Build envelope: maximum volume the printer can print, determining how large of an object the printer can build is 266 x 175 x 193 mm (10.5 x 6.9 x 7.6 in.)-
  • Resolution in X & Y (smallest movement that the print head can make on a plane) is 100 µm (0.004 in.)
  • Dynamic Voxel Resolution in Z which is user adjustable and material dependent (Number of scans in the z axis and size of the light sheet to achieve higher resolution) 50 – 100 µm (0.002 – 0.004 in.)
  • Data handling is in STL Files
  • Materials for use with stretched assemblies: PSA and FSA
  • Need to determine electrical requirements for this unit: 
    • 100-120V, 8 Amp or 220-240V, 4 Amp
