Equipment Description

Used Black Clawson Extrusion Line with:

  • Black Clawson 600 FXTR extruder:
    • Single screw
    • Diameter: 6 inches
    • Approximately 24:1 L/D ratio
    • Electrically heated
    • Water cooled non-vented approximately 5 zone barrel with pump, tank & heat exchanger
    • Driven by 250 horsepower, 1780 rpm motor through Flender gearbox ratio 14.175:1
    • Centerline height: approximately 44 inches
    • Control panel with Mitsubishi A800 drive & PLC panel
  • Process Control XL Series gravimetric continuous blender feed system with controller:
    • (1) Maag Extrex EX70 gear pump
    • Driven by 10 horsepower gearmotor mounted on a stand
    • (1) Sterling 24KW temperature control unit
  • (1) Sano Black Clawson 3-Roll Stack:
    • Pneumatically adjustable chrome plated cored rolls - approximately 20" diameter x 48" wide
    • Rolls chain driven by 7.5 horsepower gearmotor
    • Includes control panel
  • (1) Cooling skid with approximately 10 foot long roller cooling conveyor
  • (3) Thermal Care Aqua Therm RA095004 temperature controllers
  • (1) Sano Black Clawson pull roll stand with (2) pneumatically adjustable rubber rolls - 8" diameter x 48" wide and driven by 2 horsepower gearmotor
  • (1) Chicago Electric rewind roll stand: 46" wide with tensioning rolls, operator panel and control panel
