The thermoformer makes packing moulds from a flexible or stiff lower web in the forming station, which are "thermoformed" using heat, vacuum and pressure. The packs can be filled manually or automatically from above, then are hermetically sealed with a top film and separated from each other. The R530 only requires a small number of operating staff which lowers personnel cost significantly. Operator control screen interface mounted on a swivel arm for easy access around the machine.
