This horizontal, double-conical solid bowl centrifuge is designed for the continuous separation of liquid and hard-to-dewater fine solid suspensions. The clarified liquid is expelled under pressure by an adjustable impeller located at the cylindrical end. The external impeller adjustment allows for quick and accurate control of the pool depth inside the bowl, enabling it to adapt to varying process conditions during operation. The dewatered solids are moved to the conical end of the bowl, where they are discharged through ports using a combination of hydraulic pressure, an internal scroll, and high G-force.
