Used Horizontal Flow Wrapper

This type of equipment uses a single roll of film to wrap a product. A horizontal flow wrapper uses a former to guide the film around a product. Once the film is wrapped around the product, excess film is either trimmed or sealed below the center of the package. The film can be sealed with a lap seal, hot air, a hot bar or wire. Fin seals are also common. The sides of the package are sealed by sealing jaws. Sealing jaws are used to heat seal both front and back ends of the package. The jaws rotate, one on top and one on bottom, so that when they meet, the end is sealed and cut.
