This type of stretch wrapper is usually raised 11 to 12 inches from the ground, and must be loaded with a forklift or pallet conveyor. After the item is placed on the turntable, an operator must attach the tail of the film to the pallet. The base then rotates as the film carriage moves up or down, wrapping the pallet. After the pallet is wrapped, the operator must cut the film, smoothing the tail onto the pallet. Semi-automatic high profile turntable stretch wrappers can generally support 4000 to 6000 pounds of weight.
