Control panels contain motor drives, PLCs, relays, and other computer components that controls the functions of the equipment. This type of equipment is built specifically for a machine. A control panel houses electrical components, and includes input and output terminals to wire the electrical components together. The outputs typically are connected to valves or lights that are mounted elsewhere on the machine. The inputs are often connected to photo eyes and other sensors.
